SEE Auditor Certification

This course prepares instructors and lifeguards for leadership roles like head lifeguard or on-deck supervisor by focusing on Lifesaving Society standards, daily facility operations, and the tools needed to lead staff in delivering safe aquatic programs and emergency response.

  • Course Description

    The Supervision Evaluation and Enhancement (SEE) Auditor course is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge, training, and tools necessary to assess the effectiveness of lifeguard and instructor safety supervision using Lifesaving Society SEE checklists.

  • Prerequisites

    National Lifeguard certification and 100 hours lifeguarding experience as a lifeguard or National Lifeguard Examiner or Aquatic Supervisor or Aquatic Manager.

  • Recertification

    SEE Auditor remains current for 24 months from date of certification. SEE Auditor is recertified by successfully completing a SEE Auditor recertification course.

    The following resources must be obtained from the Lifesaving Society at the time of registration (if not already available to the candidate):
