Prerequisites

It is the candidate's responsibility to ensure they meet all required prerequisites before the course begins. Proof of prerequisites will be verified on the first day of the course. Online Learning

During online learning, candidates will have the opportunity to interact and receive feedback from instructors and fellow candidates.

In accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, AquaSafe Pro Training must obtain consent from the candidate (if 18 or older) or their parent/guardian (if under 18) before proceeding. This consent is provided directly to AquaSafe Pro Training.

Please be aware that any documents uploaded or activities participated in during online learning may be recorded, disclosed, and stored on secure servers located outside Canada, which may be subject to the laws of other jurisdictions.

By not agreeing to the above terms, you or your child(ren) will not be able to participate in online classes with AquaSafe Pro Training.

Fees

All course registration fees cover the Lifesaving Society examination fees. However, materials and manuals are not included in the listed course fees and will incur an additional charge. Candidates may use previously owned resources (e.g., Canadian Lifesaving Manual, Alert Manual, Canadian First Aid Manual, etc.) if available.

Course Attendance & Participation

Full attendance and active participation are mandatory for all courses. Late arrivals will not be permitted.

Participants should arrive on time and come prepared with any assigned homework or tasks. For online classes, students must log in at least 5 minutes before the class begins to ensure their computer, webcam, and microphone are functioning properly.

Active participation in learning activities is expected from all candidates.

Candidates are expected to maintain a respectful environment by refraining from using offensive or inappropriate language, including swearing, name-calling, or shouting. AquaSafe Pro Training does not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or intolerance in any form. All courses are conducted in a respectful, harassment-free, and discrimination-free environment.

Required Resources

Candidates must order the required resources for the registered course from the Lifesaving Society if not already owned.
