Course Description
Build on your foundation with the Pool Official course. This advanced training is designed for certified Community Officials looking to take on leadership roles at local, provincial, and national competitions. You’ll master high-level responsibilities, including decision-making positions like Chief Timer and Lane Judge.

Prerequisites
Minimum 16 years of age, Lifesaving Sport Community Officials certification, min. 5 hr. experience at a sanctioned Lifesaving Sport event in a Community Officials role.

Recertification
Pool Official certification remains current for 24 months from date of certification. Only current Pool Officials may officiate at lifesaving sport competitions. Pool Officials recertify through the Society’s professional development point system.
