The Aquatic Management Instructor course prepares instructors to teach the Lifesaving Society's Aquatic Supervisor and/or Aquatic Manager certifications. In other words, Aquatic Management Instructors are certified to teach the management training courses they have completed (e.g., those holding the Aquatic Supervisor certification may teach it, and those with the Aquatic Manager certification may teach that course).

Swim Instructor or Lifesaving Instructor, National Lifeguard and Aquatic Supervisor or Aquatic Manager certifications (need not be current). 

Aquatic Management Instructors remain current for 24 months from the date of certification. Only current Aquatic Management Instructors may teach and certify the Society’s Aquatic Supervisor and/or Aquatic Manager certifications. Aquatic Management Instructors recertify through the Society’s professional development point system.
